Visual Arts
-
The Visual Arts Department, here, at Hillside High School offers courses in Photography I & II and Art I, II, III, and IV. Mr. Jerome and Mr. Lawrence dominate this department, as they are the only teachers. The Art Club is the only extracurricular program that the Visual Arts Department sponsors right now. “The Art Club is doing well,” states Mr. Lawrence. We are to expect a major project from the art classes and Photography I classes this winter that involves members of the Career and Technology Education Department as well. We hope that this project will aesthetically improve our school and give back to our community…and take Hillside to another level!
