Yearbook time is here, so hurry and order a copy. The cost of the yearbook is $60. If you are interested in purchasing one, you can order it online or go directly to Emily Chavez, the yearbook adviser.
In this year’s yearbook, there will be “more everything,” Ms. Chavez stated. She said there will be more text, pictures, sport seasons, stories about Hillside students and faculty events.
Ms.Chavez said that she expects her students to include these topics in the yearbook: new perspectives on what it means to be a student, people who make up the Hillside community, stories of students attending the school and Hillside events.
Hillside Junior Jasmine Williams said she expects to “have fun and get some skills up” in yearbook class. On the other hand, Hillside Senior Romell Deshawn Harris said he aims to “have a bangin’ yearbook” this year.
Ms.Chavez and her students are advertising the yearbook at a table in the cafeteria, on the Hillside Web site, in posters and with flyers. She also said that yearbooks will be distributed around the third week of May 2012.
