Q. How long have you been teaching? 

A. Eight years

Q. What inspired you to be a teacher?

A. There wasn't a specific thing or person, that inspired me entirely, I have had some really good teachers in the past that play as part of my inspiration though.

Q. What do you enjoy about teaching?

A. Building relationships with young people, them making me laugh, and helping them make sense of the world.

Q. Why did you choose to teach history?

A. I chose history because I believe there’s no way to understand the world we live in without understanding how we got here.

Q. How do you feel about being Teacher of the Week?

A. It’s about time! No. Just kidding, I feel honored.
